Sign Up & Onboarding
Create a Wato workspace, choose a plan, and get a ready-to-use team in a couple of minutes.
Wato is self-serve. Signing up creates a workspace, makes you its admin, and provisions a default team you can start using right away.
1. Sign in
Open Wato and sign in. Authentication is handled by WorkOS, so you can use email or your organization's SSO. A brand-new account is sent straight to onboarding.
If a teammate invited you, open the invite link instead — you'll join their existing workspace rather than creating a new one (see Joining by invite).
2. Name your workspace and pick a plan
On the onboarding screen you'll:
- Enter a workspace name.
- Choose a plan.
Current plans:
| Plan | Price | Teams | Members | Automations | Concurrent agents |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0/mo | 1 | 1 | 3 | 2 |
| Personal | $40/mo | 1 | up to 3 | 25 | 5 |
| Team | $200/mo | up to 10 | up to 10 | 100 | 10 |
Current pricing & limits
Plans and limits can change — the live values are shown on the onboarding screen and under Settings → Billing.
- Free provisions your workspace immediately.
- Personal and Team take you through Stripe Checkout; your workspace is provisioned once payment completes.
3. What gets created
When your workspace is provisioned, Wato sets up:
- Your workspace (organization), with you as org admin.
- A default team named General, with you as team admin.
- A memory repository for that team.
You land on your Teams list, with General ready to open.
A workspace is the top-level container (it's the same thing as your organization). Teams live inside it — each with its own memory, connectors, skills, agents, automations, and traces. See Core Concepts.
Joining by invite
If you were invited, open the invite link. After signing in you're added to the inviting workspace. You still need team access before you can see a team's private memory or use its tools — a team or org admin grants that under Workspace Setup.
